The Macintosh SE was a personal computer manufactured by Apple between March 1987 and October 1990. The SE (SE stood for "System Expandable) was launched with notable new features to its predecessor the Macintosh Plus. It was the first compact Macintosh with space for an internal hard disk or dual floppy drives. It had better reliability and longer life expectancy due to the addition of a fan.
